About
I came from a place of a sad childhood and a miserable gambling addiction. I’ve written a book on parts of my journey and many of the tips I used to get out of the downward spiral.
One of the most important lessons for my growth was to find things I could enjoy…and then to savor them. I learned how to experience feelings (I’m continually practicing that one!) I remembered how to laugh and to feel good about my life. This blog is intended to share the tips and tools that I’ve gathered along the way…and the ones I continue to find.
My hope is that they will eventually find those who need them. I am well aware that often times people suffer in silence and don’t reach out until they’re desperate, if ever. I understand addiction and bad habits. My passion is to help others find their truth and tackle it in a shameless way that sets them free.
You won’t find judgment here. You will find an open and caring Place that will help you move mountains. I have faith in change.
If you know of someone this blog might help would you please share it with them? They need you far more than you know. I promise you that.
P.S. My other blog, NumbNoMore, is more specifically geared toward Habits and Addictions. Please say hello over there too!
